A dry storage device (30) and a ventilation method therefor. The dry storage device (30) comprises a housing that defines a drying chamber. The housing is provided with an air supply hole (33). The ventilation method for the dry storage device (30) comprises: acquiring a starting signal for triggering ventilation of the dry storage device (30); opening the air supply hole (33) according to the starting signal, so as to provide gas cooled by a cold source to the drying chamber; and measuring the humidity of the drying chamber, and closing the air supply hole (33) after the humidity reaches a first preset humidity value, so as to increase the temperature of the drying chamber in a sealed state. In the ventilation method, ventilation is started according to the starting signal, and the ending of the ventilation is controlled according to the humidity, so as to ensure that supplied low-temperature air can completely replace moist air in the drying chamber, and the consumption of electric energy due to long-time air supply can also be avoided.
