Abstract:
Disclosed are a dry torque converter for an electric vehicle and a control method therefor. The dry torque converter for an electric vehicle according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a planetary gear connected to an input shaft and a driving motor by means of a first element, connected to an output shaft and a decelerator by means of a second element, and variably connected to a fixing part by means of a third element; an eddy current torque generation part provided between the first element and the second element, for generating an eddy current torque; and a unidirectional clutch connected to the fixing part by means of the third element, for controlling unidirectional connection between the third element and the fixing part.
