Abstract:
Disclosed are a dryer used in a connected 5G environment for the Internet of Things (IoT), and a method for operating the same. A dryer according to an embodiment may comprise: a tumbler; a fan connected to an outlet of the tumbler; a heat exchanger disposed on a flow line of a working fluid, the flow line being connected to an outlet of the fan; a compressor that has an inlet connected to the flow line connected to the outlet of the fan, and an outlet connected to an inlet of the heat exchanger; and a steam generator having an outlet connected to the inlet of the compressor.
