Abstract:
The present invention improves drying uniformity. A drying apparatus is provided with: a condenser plate (11) that faces a coating film (f2) of a substrate (f1), and dries said coating film (f2) by condensing solvent vapor from the coating film (f2); and a transfer roller (12A) that transfers the substrate (f1). The transfer roller (12A) has a plurality of grooves (121) formed on the roller surface. The width of the grooves (121) preferably falls within a range of 0.01 to 0.50 mm. The grooves (121) are formed parallel to the transfer direction of the substrate (f1), or are preferably formed so as to be inclined with respect to the transfer direction of the substrate (f1).
