Title:
DRYING DEVICE HAVING A THERMAL DECOMPOSITION FUNCTION
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2014/098278
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The drying device according to the present invention comprises: a drying chamber which is surrounded by a drying-chamber wall, and accommodates an object to be dried; a stirring implement which is rotatably provided in the drying chamber and stirs the object to be dried; a combustion part which is provided in an upper part of the drying chamber, provides radiant heat to the drying chamber so as to act to heat the object to be dried and also thermally decompose organic matter produced in the drying chamber; a convection fan which circulates the air inside the drying chamber around the combustion part and make it easier for the radiant heat of a combustion tube to reach the object to be dried; a condenser into which flows steam containing the organic matter produced in the drying chamber, and which cools the steam so as to create condensed water; and a blower which produces an air pressure difference such that the steam in the drying chamber flows into the condenser, and which sends the organic matter and steam, that has not condensed in the condenser, to the combustion part. The drying device provided by the present invention has a function whereby the combustion part not only heats the object to be dried so as to generate steam but also, at the same time, acts to thermally decompose organic matter contained in the steam and thus the invention is highly energy efficient and reduces the production of foul smells and pollutants.
