Title:
DRYING DEVICE FOR POWDER MATERIAL
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2004/040213
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
A drying device for a powder material is characterized in that it has an electric heater that is built-in in its center and a hopper body that receives heat conductive fins from which partition walls are radially projected, the heat conductive fins having a carrier gas circulation passage formed by connecting an introduction opening formed above the fins and a gas discharge opening formed below the fins by a penetration passage that vertically penetrates the fins at their center, in which a carrier gas introduced from outside the hopper body is passed to the hopper body. This structure makes it possible that a powder material is uniformly heated for drying and a heat source required to heat a carrier gas is eliminated. Because the device has excellent energy efficiency, energy is saved.
