Abstract:
The present invention is a drying device wherein it is possible to easily and constantly derive an optimal size when determining the interval (clearance) between each stage in accordance with various types of objects to be dried when a rotary whirl-up blade is configured from multiple stages arranged vertically, and it is possible to ensure an extremely high drying efficiency by taking advantage of the vertical shape. A drying device (10) is configured by vertically disposing, within a vertical cylindrical-shaped drying tank (11) and along a rotating shaft (20), multiple stages of a rotary whirl-up blade (21, 210) configured from multiple base blades (22, 220). The clearance (F) between the multiple stages of the rotary whirl-up blade (21, 210) in the vertical direction is set to a ratio of 0 to 15% relative to the diameter connecting the outer-most circumferential edges of the flat side (23, 230) of each base blade (22, 220).
