Abstract:
Disclosed is a novel drying system that is equipped with a heat pump unit and an exhaust heat recovery mechanism and is capable of realizing further improvement in energy efficiency by effectively utilizing the heat collected from dry exhaust gas. The drying system, which is equipped with a dryer and an air-supplying mechanism for supplying dry gas to the dryer, is characterized in that the aforementioned dryer is a hot air dryer and the aforementioned air-supplying mechanism is equipped with the heat pump unit, and in that, in the aforementioned air-supplying mechanism, the exhaust heat recovery mechanism, which is configured in a manner capable of incorporating the heat within dry exhaust gas expelled from the aforementioned dryer into the dry gas before pumping into the dryer, is provided in a device comprising a heating device for further heating the dry gas heated by the heat pump unit.
