Title:
DUAL-CYLINDER BRAKE CALIPER ASSEMBLY FACILITATING AIR DISCHARGE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2018/014207
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
A dual-cylinder brake caliper assembly facilitating air discharge, comprising: a hydraulic upper chamber (5); a hydraulic lower chamber (2), which is embedded and installed at a position that is within a brake-caliper main body (9) and towards the left side, and the hydraulic upper chamber (5) is mounted on the right side of the hydraulic lower chamber (2); an oil inlet (1) is mounted on the left side of the brake-caliper main body (9) at a position that is level with the hydraulic lower chamber (2), and an air outlet (4) is mounted at the right side of the brake-caliper main body (9) at a position that is level with the hydraulic upper chamber (5); a detachment port (8) is mounted at a position on an upper surface of the brake-caliper main body (9) that is towards the bottom. The present application modifies the structure of an existing dual-cylinder brake caliper assembly; by providing the air outlet (4) on an outer side of the hydraulic upper chamber (5), when the hydraulic lower chamber (2) is filled with liquid, air is pushed out by means of the air outlet (4) under hydraulic pressure, thereby preventing safety issues such as a pedal dropping to the floor, long idle strokes and long braking distances which are caused by air trapped inside the hydraulic chamber; a dust-proof rear cover (6) keeps out muddy water caused by rainy weather, thereby prolonging the service life of the brake-caliper main body (9).
