Abstract:
A dual-direction electrical connector comprising a tongue plate (12) and a row of upper terminals (13a-13d) and a row of lower terminals (14a-14d) respectively provided on the upper and lower sides of the tongue plate. Upper and lower extension parts (132a-132d and 142a-142d) of each upper/lower terminal are not shared with other upper/lower terminals. Turning extension parts (143a-143d) are provided at the front extremity or a side of upper and lower contact parts (131a-131d and 141a-141d) of the upper/lower terminals. The two rows of upper and lower terminals can be distended arbitrarily either between different circuits or insofar that circuits neither cross nor overlap each other, thus reducing the difficulty of a manufacturing process and that of an assembly process, and at the same time reducing the manufacturing costs and assembly costs for the electrical connector.
