Abstract:
An eyewear apparatus comprises an inner lens (300), an outer lens (400) coupled to the inner lens (300), a liquid crystal film positioned between the inner lens (300) and the outer lens (400), and a controller connected with the liquid crystal film and configured to provide a voltage to the liquid crystal film. The outer lens (400) has three-dimensional (3D) curvature characterized by curvature along a first direction and curvature along a second direction different from the first direction. The inner lens (300) has two-dimensional (2D) curvature characterized by curvature along the first direction and substantially no curvature along the second direction.
