Abstract:
Provided are a dual-mode detection method, a controller, and a system. The dual-mode detection method comprises: determining a ratio of differential cross sections of an object under detection with respect to neutrons and X-rays according to object detection data and object-absent detection data obtained by an X-ray detector and object detection data and object-absent detection data obtained by a neutron detector; and recognizing a substance type according to a correspondence between the ratio of the differential cross sections of the object under detection with respect to the neutrons and X-rays and the substance type. The method realizes use of neutrons and X-rays to perform dual-mode detection on an object under detection. The invention employs different attenuation capabilities of a substance with respect to neutrons and X-rays to obtain a nuclide type, thereby realizing recognition of an element type, and increasing detection precision.
