Abstract:
Provided is a dual-polarization radar, comprising: a transmission module (1) used to transmit a first pulse signal and a second pulse signal having different radio frequencies; a receiving module (8) used to receive a backscattered echo signal of the first pulse signal and the second pulse signal; transceiving switch modules (2, 3, 5) used to transmit the first pulse signal to a first polarization direction antenna (4), transmit the second pulse signal to a second polarization direction antenna (6), and transmit a first polarization direction echo signal and a second polarization direction echo signal to the receiving module (8); the first polarization direction antenna (4) used to transmit the first pulse signal and receive the first polarization direction echo signal; the second polarization direction antenna (6) used to transmit a second polarization pulse signal and receive the second polarization direction echo signal; and a signal synthesis module (7) used to receive the first polarization direction echo signal and the second polarization direction echo signal, synthesize the same as the backscattered echo signal, and transmit the same to the receiving module (8). In this way, the invention achieves a radar structure having one single receiving channel and enabling alternate transmission and simultaneous reception.
