Abstract:
A dual use wet/dry vacuum cleaner, comprising an impeller base (28) provided with an air inlet channel (2); a cover with a drive device is disposed facing a suction channel (1) below the impeller base (28). The cover can be in the following forms: 1) A filter screen support (6) supporting a filter screen (5); 2) A baffle (4) disposed at the bottom of the filter screen support (6) and having a streamlined section; 3) A baffle (4) disposed below the filter screen support (6) and having a substantially streamlined section. In the previous two forms, when the cover is moved away by the drive device, air flow does not pass through the filter screen (5), the present invention enters a water collection mode, and when the cover is moved into position by the drive device, the present invention enters a dust collection mode. In the third form, the dust collection mode is entered when the cover is moved away by the drive device, and the water collection mode is entered when the cover is moved into position. Air flow efficiency can be improved in either of the dust collection mode or the water collection mode.
