Abstract:

This duct type air conditioner has: a refrigerant detecting sensor (D) configured to detect leakage of refrigerant installed in an indoor unit (a) or a main duct (30); a discharge duct (33) connected to the main duct (30) and connected to the outdoor side on a downstream side of the indoor unit (a) and on an upstream side of an introduction duct (32); and a switching damper (9) configured to block the discharge duct (33) normally and block the main duct (30) when the refrigerant detecting sensor (D) detects the leakage of the refrigerant. When the leakage of the refrigerant is detected by the refrigerant detecting sensor (D), a control device discharges the leaked refrigerant to the outdoor side by switching the switching damper (9) to the main duct (30) and operating a duct fan (5) installed in the discharge duct (33).
