Abstract:

A dump truck equipped with an oil-cooled center brake (11), a first hydraulic pump (51) for supplying oil coolant to the center brake (11), a second hydraulic pump (52) that supplies oil coolant to the center brake (11) in addition to the oil coolant from the first hydraulic pump (51), a hydraulic motor (54) that drives the second hydraulic pump (52), a third hydraulic pump (53) that supplies hydraulic fluid to the hydraulic motor (54), an open/close valve (55) that causes the hydraulic fluid to bypass the hydraulic motor (54), and a control device (57) that controls the amount of bypass flow through the open/close valve (55). The capacity of the first hydraulic pump (51) corresponds to the amount of flow of oil coolant necessary for lubricating the transmission (6). The capacity of the second hydraulic pump (52) corresponds to the amount of flow to supplement the oil coolant from the first hydraulic pump (51) when the brake is off. The capacity of the third hydraulic pump (53) is smaller than the capacity of the second hydraulic pump (52).
