Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a connection structure for front and rear header tanks (102, 202) in a duplex heat exchanger. [Solution] A connection member (300) includes two identically shaped long and narrow plate members (301, 302). A plurality of communicating holes (301a, 302a) having boss parts (301b, 302b) protruding cylindrically are formed in a row by burring on one surface of each of the plate members (301, 302), and the plate members (301, 302) are bonded to each other back-to-back. The connection member (300) is disposed between the two communicating header tanks (102, 202). The boss parts (301b, 302b) are inserted into holes (102c, 202c) formed in the header tanks (102, 202) and are bonded to the header tanks (102, 202).
