Abstract:
This invention provides a duplexer that has improved heat-dissipation performance. A surface-acoustic-wave filter has a transmission circuit provided on a first principal surface (20s) of a first piezoelectric substrate (20B) and a reception circuit provided on a second principal surface (30s) of a second piezoelectric substrate (30B). A mounting substrate (40) on which said surface-acoustic-wave filter is mounted has the following: a first grounding electrode (57) opposite the transmission circuit; a first bottom-surface grounding electrode (54) that overlaps the transmission circuit in a plan view of the bottom surface (40b) of the mounting substrate (40); a second grounding electrode (67) opposite the reception circuit; a second bottom-surface grounding electrode (64) that overlaps the reception circuit in a plan view of the bottom surface (40b); a wiring electrode that connects the first grounding electrode (57) to the second grounding electrode (67); and a first via electrode (50) and second via electrode (60) that pass through the mounting substrate (40). The amount of heat conducted by the second via electrode (60) per unit time is higher than the amount of heat conducted by the first via electrode (50) per unit time.
