Abstract:
A device for duplicating a duplicate key comprising: a top force (14) vertically movable and having a front portion thereof serving as a copying portion having a chevron shape in section; a bottom force (11) mating the top force (14); a key holding means (16) for clamping an original key (34) and a key base material (35), which are arranged in a longitudinal direction; and a driving means (18) for vertically driving the top force (14); wherein, during press work, the key holding means (16) is moved while mating the front side of the top force (14) with crests of key of the original key (34), and crests of key provided at one side or both sides of the key base material (35) are cut individually.
