Abstract:
A variety of grinding tools such as a disc-shaped grindstone for grinding steel materials and a cup-shaped diamond wheel for grinding concrete are attached to disc grinders to match type of work. Dust-collecting covers are fabricated from ordinary steel in order to secure heat resistance to such things as high-temperature iron powder arising during work. As a result, making conventional dust-collecting covers more lightweight is difficult, and so the disclosed dust-collecting cover aims to be more lightweight. The dust-collecting cover (10) aims to be more lightweight through being made from a resin. In accordance with this, a configuration is used wherein an attachment regulator (20) intervenes such that disc-shaped grindstones for grinding steel materials cannot be attached, and only cup-shaped diamond wheels (T1) for work that does not generate such things as high-temperature iron powder can be attached.
