Abstract:
Disclosed is a feature that contributes to an improvement in visibility from a tool bit to a work region in a dust collection device that collects dust particles that arise by means of a processing operation of an impact tool. The dust collection device (140) collects dust that arises by means of a processing operation and is attached to the impact tool (101) that performs a predetermined processing operation on a processed member by means of a tool bit (119) mounted to the tip region of the tool body (103) being linearly operated at least in the lengthwise direction. The dust collection device (140) has a dust collection unit (141) of which the tip opens as a dust intake port (141a) and the contour shape is formed unevenly around the long axis of the tool bit (119). The position of the dust collection unit (141) is freely selected around the long axis of the tool bit, and it is possible to cause the position to change around the long axis of the bit.
