Abstract:
Provided are a dust collector for which operability is improved and an electric tool that uses the dust collector. A dust collector (200) collects dust particles generated by machining operations by an electric tool (100) and comprises a dust collecting housing (201) that comprises: a dust particle suctioning mechanism (210) driven by a battery (400); a dust particle passage (220); a dust particle accommodating unit (203); and a user mounting unit (230). The user mounting unit (230) is configured to allow the dust particle housing (201) to be mounted on the user.
