Abstract:

A dust core produced by compacting an iron based magnetic powder coated with an insulating coating, characterized in that saturation magnetization M $m(G) 1.9T in a field of 1.6 MA / m, specific resistance $g(r)1.5 $g(m) $g(V) m, flux density B¿2k? $m(G) 1.1T in a field of 2 kA/m, and flux density B¿10k?$m(G)1.6T in a field of 10 kA/m. According to the invention, an iron based magnetic powder can be compacted industrially under a significantly high molding pressure and a high performance dust core having high density and excellent specific resistance and permeability can be obtained.
