Abstract:
This dust detecting device detects a dust concentration at a prescribed sensing location. Furthermore, the dust detecting device is provided with: an optical type dust sensor (321) which outputs a sensor output value (Vs) corresponding to the dust concentration at the sensing location; and a correcting unit (322) which determines a corrected value (Vc) obtained by correcting the sensor output value, as a value representing the dust concentration. The correcting unit determines the corrected value in such a way that the corrected value becomes a value further to the lower side of the dust concentration as the wind speed at the sensing location is reduced, for a constant sensor output value.
