Abstract:
Disclosed is a dust-removing device for an air conditioner, said dust-removing device comprising: a filter (22) for filtering out and trapping the dust from return air before that air is drawn into the return air inlet of an air conditioner, said filter having the shape of a continuous loop which is able to move in a direction perpendicular to the filtering direction; a motor (23) for driving rotation of the filter (22); an outside brush (31) which is driven to rotate in association with the rotation of the filter (22) by the motor (23) and which is disposed facing the front surface side of the filter (22); and an inside brush (32) which is driven to rotate in association with the rotation of the filter (22) by the motor (23) and which is disposed facing the back surface side of the filter (22). The outside brush (31) and the inside brush (32) are disposed such that the shaft of the outside brush (31) and the shaft of the inside brush (32) are arranged sandwiching the filter (22) but offset from the opposing position of each other in the movement direction of the filter (22), and such that the filter (22) can be moved in a wave-like shape. The outside brush (31) and the inside brush (32) rotate along with the rotation of the filter (22), such that the brushes have a relative speed with respect to the filter (22) in the state contacting the front surface and back surface of the filter (22), and thereby remove the dust from the filter (22).
