Abstract:

The present invention relates to the field of set top box applications, and discloses a DVB-based multi-terminal program playing method and system, a set top box and a mobile terminal. The method comprises: a set top box is connected to a local area network and broadcasts a service which can be provided and an IP address; the set top box receives a connection request from a mobile terminal; the set top box determines whether the request satisfies a pre-set condition, and makes responses respectively; the set top box receives a program list and an EPG request from the mobile terminal and returns the request; the set top box receives a program playing request from the mobile terminal, wherein the request comprises program ID information; the set top box enables a DVB module according to the program ID information and receives TS data of a program; and the set top box encrypts the TS data of the program and transmits same to the mobile terminal. In the present invention, the function of playing a program on several mobile terminals is realized through a DVB set top box having a network function, thereby saving costs for a user and improving the user experience.
