Abstract:

Disclosed is a dye-sensitized photoelectric conversion element provided with at least one dye-sensitized photoelectric conversion cell. The dye-sensitized photoelectric conversion cell is provided with a first electrode, a second electrode facing the first electrode, an oxide semiconductor layer provided on the first electrode, and an electrolyte provided between the first and second electrodes. The second electrode is provided with an annular section, a proximal section that is nearer the oxide semiconductor layer than the annular section, and an annular connection section that connects the annular section and the proximal section. The oxide semiconductor layer has an inner-side portion above the first electrode and faces the proximal section of the second electrode, and an annular outer-side portion that is provided at the periphery of the inner-side portion and faces the connection section of the second electrode. The outer-side portion has a plurality of linear sections separated from each other when the outer-side portion is viewed from the thickness direction of the oxide semiconductor layer, and a corner section linking two of the linear sections among the plurality of linear sections. The thickness of the corner section of the outer-side portion is greater than the thickness of the linear sections of the outer-side portion, and the thickness of the linear sections of the outer-side portion is greater than the thickness of the inner-side portion.
