Title:
DYE-SENSITIZED SOLAR CELL, DYE-SENSITIZED SOLAR CELL MODULE, AND COATING LIQUID FOR FORMING ELECTROLYTE LAYER
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2011/016345
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Disclosed is a dye-sensitized solar cell which comprises a solid electrolyte that has excellent thermal stability and excellent liquid retention properties and is free from leakage of the electrolyte solution especially at high temperatures or under pressures. Also disclosed is a dye-sensitized solar cell module which uses the dye-sensitized solar cell. The dye-sensitized solar cell is characterized by being configured of an electrode base (10), a porous semiconductor layer (20) that is formed on the electrode base (10) and loaded with a sensitizing dye on the pore surfaces, a counter electrode (40) that is arranged so as to face the porous semiconductor layer (20), and an electrolyte layer (30) that is formed between the electrode base (10) and the counter electrode (40) and contains a redox pair and a cationic cellulose or a derivative thereof.
