Abstract:
Disclosed is a dye-sensitized solar cell which comprises an electrolyte layer in a solid state, while having improved durability and improved photoelectric conversion efficiency.
Specifically disclosed is a dye-sensitized solar cell (1) which is configured of a conductive base (10), a porous semiconductor layer (20) that is formed on the conductive base (10) and loaded with a sensitizing dye on the pore surfaces, a counter electrode (40) that is arranged so as to face the porous semiconductor layer (20), and an electrolyte layer (30) that is formed between the conductive base (10) and the counter electrode (40) and contains potassium iodide and a thermoplastic cellulose resin.
