Abstract:
This dye-sensitized solar cell (100) is provided with: a first light-transmitting substrate and a second substrate (12, 32); an electrolyte solution (42); a transparent conductive layer (14); a porous semiconductor layer (18a); a photosensitizer which is supported by the porous semiconductor layer; a first sealing part (45) which forms a space (S) between the first light-transmitting substrate and the second substrate, said space being filled with the electrolyte solution (42) and comprising an injection hole (51) that has an opening (50) for injection of the electrolyte solution (42); and a second sealing part (52) which seals the injection hole (51), thereby sealing up the space (S). In a cross-section which is parallel to a main surface of the first light-transmitting substrate (12) and includes the injection hole (51), if H is the distance between two contact points where the first sealing part (45), the second sealing part (52) and the electrolyte solution (42) are in contact with each other, the distance H is larger than the width h of the opening (50) of the injection hole (51).
