Abstract:
A colored aromatic polyester filament yarn having a clear hue, wherein the filament comprises an aromatic polyester polymer having a glass transition temperature (Tg) of 65 �C or below and prepared by copolymerizing an aliphatic dicarboxylic acid component and/or an aliphatic diol component, while the whole yarn exhibits a visually homogeneous dyed state despite the presence of dyed spots in the longitudinal direction in each filament constituting the yarn, and the chroma C* value represented by the L*a*b* color space of the yarn dyed with a 1 % (owf) aqueous solution of a disperse dye composed mainly of C.I. Disperse Blue 56 is at least 36.
