Abstract:
A dynamic detection and safety safeguarding method for a mobile robot. The robot is provided with a sensor. The sensor acquires obstacle information of a detection area in front of the mobile robot. When an object is present in the detection area, the robot decelerates gradually, and the detection area is dynamically adjusted; if no obstacle is detected in the adjusted detection area, then the mobile robot continues to move; if an object is still detected in the adjusted detection area, then the mobile robot continues to decelerate until a full stop. The sensor sets different detection areas on the basis of the traveling speed and traveling direction of the mobile robot, or presets the detection area on the basis of a path, and makes dynamic adjustments when the mobile robot is traveling. The dynamic detection and safety safeguarding method for the mobile robot allows the mobile robot to pass through a path having many interfering items, provides strong resistance to interference, and at the same time ensures the consistency in detection range and processing mechanism for curves and straight lines.
