Abstract:
A dynamic gesture recognition method and device. The method comprises: acquiring a plurality of gesture images according to the sequence order of time frames (101); dividing each gesture image into a pre-set number of image blocks (102); recognizing, from the image blocks of each gesture image, a gesture image block and a non-gesture image block (103); setting an identification value of the gesture image block and the non-gesture image block (104); according to an identification value of a gesture image block and a non-gesture image block in a gesture image corresponding to an adjacent time frame, carrying out a logical operation on the gesture image corresponding to the adjacent time frame (105); and recognizing gesture sliding according to a logical operation result. Since, according to the method, in the processing process, it is not necessary to process the whole image, and a logical operation is used to simplify and integrate the relationship between the plurality of identified image blocks, gesture recognition can be carried out quickly and accurately without occupying a lot of memory resources, so that the efficiency of gesture recognition is greatly improved.
