Abstract:
When an error detected by error detection means is a predetermined error (No in S4), list correction means corrects a reference list for enabling access to a decoded frame as a reference image stored in storage means (S7). When the n-th frame is a frame to be decoded by using another frame, frame decoding means decodes the n-th frame by using the decoded frame as the reference image stored in the storage means which can be accessed by the reference list upon decoding of the n-th frame according tot he header information on the n-th frame (S5).
