An embodiment of the present invention is a management system which enables changes to be easily made to the price of a large quantity of various types of products and employee labor to be reduced. A management system according to an embodiment comprises: a computation means for computing and determining product information for displayed products; a plurality of electronic display shelves provided with display units which enables the product information to be displayed and overwritten; a communication means for facilitating the exchange of product information between the plurality of electronic display shelves and computation means; a database for storing basic information about each of the products; a management means for managing sales or inventory information about each of the products; and a non-product-data collection means for collecting and accumulating, over time, non-product-related fluctuation data. On the basis of the basic information, the sales or inventory information, and the past and present fluctuation data, the computation means is able to determine the present product information and direct the overwriting of the product information on the display units.
