Abstract:
A dynamic shear test device and method employing single-axis two-way synchronous control electromagnetic loading. The test device comprises a support platform (1), a loading rod member system, an electromagnetic pulse emission system, a normal-direction pressure servo control loading system, and a data monitoring and acquisition system. By employing the test device of the invention, a dynamic shear test study can be performed on a rock-like material with a constant normal-direction pressure under conditions close to actual working conditions. Complete rock-like samples of different test sizes or joint rock-like samples comprising a single structural plane are selected according to test requirements so as to perform dynamic shear mechanical characteristic and shear failure pattern study under a condition in which a strain rate is 101 to 103s -1, thereby providing important theoretical foundation and technical support for design, construction, and protection of rock mass engineering and structural engineering, and safety and stability assessment.
