Abstract:
Provided is a dynamic vibration absorber capable of effectively reducing the torque variation of the turbine of a torque converter. This dynamic vibration absorber (7) is provided to the turbine (15) of a torque converter (1). In this dynamic vibration absorber (7), a damper plate (51) is affixed to the turbine (15) and rotates about a rotation center (O). An inertia ring (57) has a first window (66) and a second window (76). The inertia ring (57) rotates about the rotation center (O) relative to the damper plate (51) to damp the torque variation of the turbine (15). A third torsion spring (60) is held by the first window (66) and the second window (76) and elastically connects the damper plate (51) and the inertia ring (57) in a rotational direction. The third torsion spring (60) slides on the first window (66) and the second window (76) to generate hysteresis torque.
