This dynamo-electric machine having no iron core includes: a stator 2 that includes a cylindrical coil 200 and a lid-shaped mount 300 to which one end surface of the cylindrical coil is fixed; and a rotor 3 that is disposed on the opposite side of the lid-shaped mount of the stator. The rotor 3 has: a cup-shaped mount 400 that has an air gap 40, where the cylindrical coil 200 is disposed, which is defined by a bottom 420, an inside cylindrical hollow path forming body 500, and an outside cylindrical hollow path forming body 600; and a plurality of magnets 4 that are provided on the outside cylindrical hollow path forming body and/or the inside cylindrical hollow path forming body. A second gap 20 on the inside of the cylindrical coil and a third gap 30 on the outside of the cylindrical coil are formed between the open end surface of the cup-shaped mount and the lid-shaped mount. The outside air introduced into the second gap 20 and/or the outside air introduced into the outside of the cylindrical coil by the difference in pressure around the rotor generated by the rotation of the rotor directly cools the plurality of magnets exposed at the air gap and both sides of the cylindrical coil disposed in the air gap.
