Abstract:
A dynamo-electric machine provided with a rotor, a stator comprising a coil wound around a stator core and facing the rotor in the radial direction of the rotor, and a case for accommodating the rotor and the stator, wherein the rotor is provided with: a rotary shaft; a first rotor affixed to the rotary shaft; a second rotor not affixed to the rotary shaft, and positioned facing the first rotor in the direction of the rotary axis of the first rotor and with an interval therebetween in the rotary shaft direction; a torque-transmitting means capable of switching between a torque transmission state for transmitting rotational torque from the second rotor to the first rotor and a torque non-transmission state for not transmitting rotational torque from the second rotor to the first rotor; and a magnetic coupling means capable of magnetically coupling the second rotor to the case.
