Abstract:
The invention relates to a delivery box for securing deliveries via the internet, provided with a door to the delivery box provided with means for entering an access code for opening the door, and with a microprocessor control connected to the door, which microprocessor can be remote programmed by means of a computer, a delivery door, and software for securing deliveries via the internet. Additionally, the intervention relates to a method for securing deliveries via the internet, in which via a computer a customer places an order via the internet, while entering an access code for opening a door to be opened from outside of his house, which door gives access to a delivery room, and via said computer providing a microprocessor control connected to the door with said access code in order to be able to open the door. In this way, a supplier is able to safely deliver products to a customer 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, without a customer having to be at home.
