Abstract:
 The present invention is provided with: a NOx adsorption/reduction catalyst 32 that reduces and purifies NOx in exhaust gas and is provided in an exhaust gas system in an internal combustion engine 10; a deterioration degree estimation unit 120 that estimates the degree of deterioration of the NOx adsorption/reduction catalyst 32; a regeneration control unit 100 that implements a regeneration process for restoring the NOx adsorption capacity of the NOx adsorption/reduction catalyst 32 by enriching the exhaust gas; an interval setting unit 118 that sets the target interval from the completion of the regeneration process by the regeneration control means 100 to the start of the next regeneration process; and an interval target value correction unit 119 that corrects the target interval on the basis of the degree of deterioration estimated by the deterioration degree estimation unit 120.
