Abstract:
The invention relates to an ear catheter for insertion into the Eustachian tube, having a first hose as catheter hose (3) with at least one first lumen as injection channel (3A) for administering a liquid, at least one second lumen as pressure relief lumen (3B) for pressure relief, and a self-expanding sealing element (2) for closing the Eustachian tube, and also to an insertion aid having a headpiece, a middle piece and an endpiece, the insertion aid being made of a biocompatible polymer, and at least one partition line running through the middle piece and the endpiece, along which partition line the insertion aid can be folded open or split open. The insertion aid according to the invention can thus be removed from a catheter even when the catheter ends are blocked.
