Abstract:
The purpose of the invention is to ensure the accuracy of ear authentication from the audible range to the non-audible range. An earphone is provided with: a sound emission unit (3); a sound collection unit (4); a housing (1) accommodating the sound emission unit and the sound collection unit; a sound hole (5) which is formed inside the housing and through which an emitted sound is propagated in a predetermined direction and through which a sound from the predetermined direction is propagated to the sound collection unit; and an earpad (2) covering at least a part of the sound hole, wherein it is arranged that an earpad-side end surface (6) which is an end surface of the earpad at least should not extrude, in the predetermined direction, with respect to a sound hole-side end surface (7) which is an end surface of the sound hole in the predetermined direction.
