Abstract:
The invention relates to an individual module which provides protection against earthquakes, cyclones and other natural or criminal disasters, in order to save lives in the event of an earthquake, cyclone, terrorist attack or the collapse of a building. The inventive protection module comprises a parallelepiped frame (1) with a dimensionally-stable structure which is made from a highly resistant material and which is provided with an outer, resistant, aerodynamic cover. Five of the faces of the aforementioned structure are closed, while the sixth face is provided with a sliding protector (3). Moreover, the invention is equipped with oxygen (4) and water (5) reserves, an electronic lighting, communication (7), warning (8) and guiding (tracking) system, and a battery. Given that the structure is dimensionally stable or difficult to deform, it can be anchored to a fixed point, such as to protect the body and life of the user during an earthquake, cyclone or any other natural or criminal disaster.
