Abstract:
The present invention relates to an earthquake-proof ultraviolet sterilizer, and more particularly, to an ultraviolet sterilizer including: an inlet portion into which ballast water flows; an outlet portion from which the ballast water that flows into the inlet portion and is then sterilized is discharged; and an ultraviolet sterilizing portion which includes an ultraviolet lamp disposed between the inlet portion and the outlet portion to irradiate ultraviolet rays for sterilization. The ultraviolet sterilizer further includes: a cap fixing and supporting both ends of the ultraviolet sterilizing portion; and a shock-absorbing supporting portion, one end of which is elastically pressurized by the cap and the other end of which elastically pressurizes the terminal of the ultraviolet lamp. According to the earthquake-proof ultraviolet sterilizer of the present invention, the sleeve pipe and the ultraviolet lamp may be prevented from being damaged even when vibration is applied to the ultraviolet sterilizing portion, and the explosion of the ultraviolet sterilizer caused by explosive gas may be prevented by blocking the explosive gas from flowing into the cap.
