Abstract:
In vehicles, hub carriers are usually held in the chassis region in a predefined operating position by means of a plurality of links. The links are constructed such that the predefined operating position is adapted to suit the conditions during the compression of the suspension or the steering of the vehicle. However, with passive link assemblies, it is not possible to find an optimal operating position for each driving situation. Rather, the passive link assemblies are optimized to a preferred driving situation, such that said passive link assemblies become non-optimized for another driving situation. In order to improve the stress relief in this field of adapting the link assembly to a plurality of driving situations, the use of active link assemblies comprising actuators is known, whereby the actuators actively change the length of the links in a selective manner, or change the position of the connecting points for the links in the chassis. Proposed is an eccentric adjuster (1) for adjusting a connecting point (4) for a link (2) of a hub carrier (3), said adjuster comprising: an electric motor (6); an eccentric gear section (9), the eccentric gear section (9) having an input shaft (8) and an output shaft (10), wherein the input shaft (8) can be driven by the electric motor (6) and the output shaft (10) rotates eccentrically relative to an output axis of rotation (11) and can be operatively connected to the connecting point (4) or forms said point, and wherein the eccentric gear section (9) has a star-wheel mechanism stage (16).
