Abstract:
Disclosed is an echo cancellation method for use in voice communication. The method comprises the following procedures: when a near-end apparatus receives a far-end voice signal transmitted by a far-end apparatus, playing the received far-end voice signal, and acquiring, from the far-end voice signal, a frequency point having the maximum appearance frequency; acquiring, by the near-end apparatus, near-end sound to form a near-end voice signal; and performing echo cancellation on the near-end voice signal according to the acquired frequency point having the maximum appearance frequency, and transmitting, to the far-end apparatus, the near-end voice signal having undergone the echo cancellation. Also provided is an echo cancellation device for use in voice communication. The invention cancels echo generated in a voice communication process, thereby improving voice communication quality.
