Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for processing alloy production scrap, which method comprises the following steps: - selectively sorting, at a production site, alloy production scrap on the basis of their grade, into one skip per grade; - identifying, at the production site, the grade of the alloy production scrap present in each skip, by means of a spectrometer; - locking each skip at the production site; - transporting each skip to a processing site; - opening each skip at the processing site; - melting the contents of each skip at the processing site.
