Abstract:
An economizing on water type washing and sterilizing method for vegetables and
fruits and thereof apparatus. The method includes the following procedures.
At first, the vegetables and fruits are put into the washing cage of the washing
and sterilizing apparatus. Next, streams are jetted from the bottom, the center
and the sides of the washing cage to spray the vegetables and fruits at low water
level. Then, the washing cage is rotated around its central axis to generate rolling
streams, and the vegetables and fruits are cleaned at middle water level. Finally,
the water pump for generating turning streams is started, and the vegetables
and fruits are sunk at high water level.
