Abstract:
The present invention provides an economizer with which it is possible to efficiently warm water, the economizer having a structure that facilitates inspection and cleaning. An economizer for warming water through use of combustion exhaust gas generated by a boiler, wherein: to a cylindrical water pipe (11) through which the water passes and in which an inflow port (12) and an outflow port (13) are formed in a side surface thereof, a plurality of gas pipes (61, 62, 63) erected in order to circulate the combustion exhaust gas are each provided in fan-shaped portions of the water pipe (11); and combustion exhaust gas introduced from the water pipe bottom surface side turns back and flows downward in the water pipe upper part, and then turns back in a water pipe lower part and flows upward, and is discharged from the water pipe upper surface side, whereby the plurality of gas pipes efficiently warm the water in the water pipe (11).
